Zetland 2017
Mechanic in Zetland — Servicing & Repairs
Apartment-block parking is brutal on cars — we see the results daily.
Zetland is a short drive north of the workshop, and it is dense apartment living almost end to end. That shapes the work we do for Zetland customers more than anything else.
Basement car parks mean tight ramps, sharp turns at full lock and low-speed kerb strikes. We see a steady stream of scuffed alloys, damaged tyre sidewalls, knocked alignment and worn CV joints from exactly that kind of use — the clicking noise on full lock is the classic Zetland symptom.
Cars here also tend to sit for days at a time between short trips, which is hard on batteries and lets brake discs surface-rust. Neither is serious if caught, but both are worth checking if the car has been sitting.

Servicing Zetland — common questions
Do you service cars from Zetland? +
Yes. Our workshop is at 589-591 Gardeners Rd, Mascot NSW 2020, about 8 minutes away from Zetland. We service and repair all makes and models, and Zetland customers make up a regular part of our work. Call 02 9667 4008 to book.
Can I drop my car off before work? +
Yes. We open at 7:30am Monday to Friday, so you can drop the car in early and collect it after work. If you need to leave it overnight or arrange a different pick-up time, just let us know when you book.
Will servicing here affect my new-car warranty? +
No. Australian law allows you to have a new vehicle serviced by any qualified workshop without affecting the manufacturer warranty, provided the correct schedule, parts and fluid specifications are followed. We service to the manufacturer schedule and stamp your logbook.
Do I need to book, or can I just turn up? +
Booking is best, particularly for a full service, so we can have the right parts on hand and get your car back to you the same day. For a quick look at a noise or a warning light, you are welcome to call and drop in.
