New Tyres & Tyre Repairs in Mascot, Sydney
All major brands and budgets, fitted, balanced and aligned — plus safe puncture repairs.
Tyres are the only part of your car that touches the road. Every input — accelerating, braking, steering — is transmitted through four contact patches roughly the size of your hand, which makes them the single most important safety component on the vehicle.
We supply and fit all major brands across every budget, and we will give you a straight answer about what is worth spending. Premium tyres genuinely do stop shorter in the wet and last longer, but a mid-range tyre from a reputable manufacturer is often the sensible choice, and we would rather tell you that than sell you something you do not need.
Not every puncture can be safely repaired. Australian standards permit repairs within the central tread area only — damage to the sidewall or shoulder means the tyre must be replaced. We will always assess and tell you honestly, but we will not plug a sidewall.

New Tyres & Repairs — common questions
When do tyres legally need replacing in NSW? +
The legal minimum tread depth is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tread, and every tyre has moulded wear indicators at that depth. That said, wet-weather grip drops off sharply below about 3mm, so we generally recommend replacing before you reach the legal limit.
Can my puncture be repaired? +
If the damage is in the central tread area and the tyre is otherwise sound, usually yes. Punctures in the sidewall or shoulder cannot be safely repaired and the tyre must be replaced — that is a safety standard, not an upsell. We will show you the damage and explain which category it falls into.
Do I need to replace all four tyres at once? +
Not necessarily, but tyres should always be replaced in axle pairs so grip is even across the car. On all-wheel-drive vehicles it is often four at a time, because significant differences in rolling diameter can damage the drivetrain.
How old is too old for a tyre? +
Rubber degrades with age even on a car that barely gets driven. Most manufacturers recommend replacement at six years and consider ten years an absolute maximum. Every tyre carries a four-digit date code on the sidewall — we can show you where to find it.
